Position Overview:

The Corporate Communications Writer works in conjunction with corporate marketing and assigned teams to lead the writing and/or editing of various internal and external communications programs including, but not limited to: feature articles, publications, brochures, investor and public relations materials, presentations, corporate advertising and social media content, quarterly email update content, internal and external website content (i.e. corporate portion of ridefox.com, investor relations website, HR careers site, internal web-based systems).

The Corporate Communications writer is responsible for developing and managing corporate content for the company including strategic messaging, social content for blog posts, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and the company?s overall corporate narrative that engages and builds trust and credibility with external audiences. In addition, this person will contribute to and lead a wide range of corporate communications programs and initiatives.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Writes copy for internal and external marketing, participates in building and executing the communication strategy

  • Ensure our voice and tone is maintained consistently and that an audience point of view has been considered and applied to all communications

  • Plan, develop, edit, and deliver content for a variety of digital channels as needed

  • Create content to establish credibility with external audiences, including presentation content and talking points for external meetings and events

  • Develop relationships and effectively communicate with a range of internal stakeholders across functions and levels

  • Identify creative and innovative ways to communicate strategic initiatives to internal and external audiences

  • Become an expert in writing in the voice of internal clients

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and milestones against project timelines

Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree Journalism, Marketing, or Writing preferred or strong equivalent experience will be considered

  • 5-7 years of public relations and/or business writing experience

  • Exceptional writer, editor, and communicator with executive presence

  • Experience writing for executives at high profile, public companies or organizations preferred

  • Ability to synthesize concepts, formulate a clear point of view, and write/edit compelling copy

  • Ability to effectively build relationships with peers and leadership

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills

  • Ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively

  • The ideal candidate will be able to lead, coordinate, and create communications across different areas of the business and in collaboration with a global team

  • Must be an experienced writer and communications strategist, able to deliver compelling stories in the brand voice in all mediums. The work will span across high-concept strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns to punchy taglines

  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and collaboration skills

  • Strategic thinker and strong team player who is comfortable with ambiguity and remains calm under pressure

  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects/assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities while delivering high quality products

  • Desire to learn and stay ahead of what is new and next in terms of content development and delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with SEO strategies

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms (i.e. ESPs, Google Analytics, content management systems, etc.)

  • Experience at a public company writing for investors heavily preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
