Quality Control Analyst


This position is¬ a 180 Day Assignment starting on November 1st with the potential to develop into a full time position.


¬ 


MAJOR FUNCTIONS:


¬ 


Provides support to the Director of Quality by reviewing and reporting on data from the Partner Website and HVTnet Quality Analysis tool. ¬ Ensure that all vendors are following the current Defective Merchandise Policy, communicates any issues to the Director of Quality.¬  Audits the PR items that show up in the Partner Website and removes the items that are incorrectly placed there and counsels the relevant DC's. Respond to vendor questions concerning products on the Partner Site. Works to support and answer questions from other areas of the business on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

  • Regularly review the Partner Site and follow up with vendors who are not monitoring their products.

  • Audit and disposition of DMR's to ensure that Havertys guidelines are followed per DMR policy.

  • Assist the Director of Quality in creating and maintaining a monthly Vendor Report Card.

  • By reviewing the Partner site and monthly Exception reports, identify consistent quality issues by product or vendor that need to be addressed by quality management.

  • Review monthly Exception Report to determine products to be added/dropped from the watch list.¬ 

  • Identify quality issues that might be positively impacted by using videos or other forms of education via the Watch List.

  • Help maintain inventory accuracy relevant to NPQR product samples, photo studio samples, etc.

  • Participate in New Product Quality Reviews and produce the NPQR reports.

  • Assist Quality Inspector with New Product Inspection, reports, transfers, etc.

  • Assisting Merchandising with scheduling photography transfers to Kreber.



Job Requirements


EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE


¬ 



  • Experience using Havertys IT systems including HVTnet, MDC, MCS, etc.

  • Work and communicate with all levels of management, using professional interpersonal skills.¬ 

  • Self-motivated and results driven.

  • Able to work both independently and as a member of a team.¬ 

  • Multi-variable problem solving skills.

  • Computer skills, including use of Office 365

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
