Business Center Concierge

Effectively and professionally perform the business center requests as they are received from the external and internal guest in a timely manner on a daily basis.
  • Assist guests with all reasonable requests i.e. faxing, photocopying, messages, computer needs, minor meeting changes, etc.
  • Answer telephone in a professional manner, directing all calls and/or messages to the appropriate guest.
  • Ensure all messages, faxes, and projects are delivered to the guest in a timely manner.
  • Maintain supply inventory in the Business Center and order supplies as needed for each department.
  • Prepare signage for meeting rooms and have ready for Conference Services.
  • Maintain cash bank per accounting guidelines. Comply with all accounting procedures.
  • Post daily charges and forward to Night Audit.
  • Maintain upkeep and operation of office equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the Business Center.
  • Type Agenda and Daily each day and distribute to appropriate departments.
  • Merge, Print, Number and Distribute weekly Banquet Event Orders physically and via email on Monday afternoons for the following work week (Insure that Diagrams and Restaurant Menus are attached with correct BEOs)
  • Receive all pop-up and revised BEOs from Sales Team, Event Planning and Catering Department and distribute via mail boxes and email
  • Assist Catering Managers, Event Planning Managers and Sales Managers with group projects simultaneously.
  • Complete all tasks on a time scale with 100% completion while providing guests with 100% customer/guest satisfaction.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Responsible for printing Menu Cards, Place Cards and Recipe Cards for Catering, Event Planning and Sales Office
  • Be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language in order to interact with guests, staff, handle administrative duties, etc.
  • Be able to compose and express thoughts in a clear and understandable way to ensure effective communications.
  • Be able to develop and maintain productive interpersonal relationships, ability to relate well with a wide variety of individuals many of whom will require patience and tolerance, and the ability to effectively manage a wide variety of people
  • Be able to manage multiple activities often in stressful situations. Be able to organize oneself, one's work, and the efforts of others.
  • Process Catering Contracts
  • Merge Resume Report
  • Build Wedding Package through SMS Host
  • Complete Amenity Request Forms
  • File Catering Folders
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, copy machine, fax machine, and knowledge of multi-line phone system. Minimum 1-year computer experience. Typing 60 WPM. Excellent phone and filing experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
