The Manager of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing the sourcing and recruiting strategy to meet exempt and non-exempt hiring needs for Braselton and Stockbridge DCs for peak and non-peak. The strategy will include both passive and active candidates into exempt and non-exempt positions across a broad range of positions at Carters. This position will also be responsible for developing the hiring process, building community relationships to support recruiting efforts, and liaison with staffing agencies and third party candidate providers. This role supports all aspects of the recruiting function including recruitment networking events, industry/competitor research and more. Some travel is required.
Manage the recruiting function for all openings within the Carters Braselton and Stockbridge DCs
Partner with Corporate & Retail Talent, HRIS, and Legal teams as necessary to develop best practices
Supervise and develop recruitment team to meet hiring objectives
Drive recruiting initiatives for exempt and non-exempt population including temporary to permanent conversion
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified, diverse candidates for future openings
Develop peak hiring strategy including supervising seasonal recruitment teams as needed
Build best practice processes for sourcing and marketing materials, applicant tracking, screening, interviewing, hiring the right candidates for the right roles
Prescreen and interview candidates. Decide on candidate pool for interview process and partner with Facility Hiring Manager to determine top candidates
Proactively identify candidates through sourcing of Pereless Applicant Tracking System and other 3rd party job boards, for current/future openings and hard-to-fill positions while ensuring a diverse representation on all executive & hourly openings
Reconcile and manage candidates recruitment process on Pereless, responding to candidates in a timely manner while improving key performance with internet hiring
Post open exempt and non-exempt positions
Gather information on outside companies and best industry standards and make recommendations to Carters for future recruitment improvements
Lead community sourcing and recruitment events
Data analytics necessary for optimal performance. May include, but not limited to, sourcing plans, results, cost per hire, hiring transactional plan, gross hires, offers, screening, hire data, WOTC and other hiring tax incentive management
Any other recruiting responsibilities Management deems necessary
Monitors departmental budget to achieve financial objectives and plan/measure ROI on recruiting and hiring programs.
Works with community contacts to achieve hiring objectives within timeframe and budgetary guidelines
Supervise HR Generalist-Recruitment to ensure hiring objectives are met
Provide support for Employee Relations as necessary
Assist with supporting employee engagement efforts, as needed.
Fully participate in facility Safety initiatives.
Experience and Skills
5-7 years experience in recruiting and top talent selection.
Experience supervising others
Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience in recruiting and top talent selection relations
Knowledgeable about recruiting applications and HRIS recruiting processes
Experience sourcing candidates for high volume hiring plans
Strong marketing and sales ability
Ability to influence others and foster relationships
Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and effectively work on multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to adapt to ever-changing environment while maintaining clear focus on all priorities.
Ability to work independently and make decisions
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal & written.
Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
Proven ability and experience working with data and having a high degree of accuracy.
Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office: Excel, Power Point, and Word as well as basic math functions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
