Maint Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic duties.
Troubleshoot faulty machinery and make necessary repairs to production machines.
Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Document Maintenance and Repairs in GURU Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings

Experience:
Associate degree (A.
S) Industrial Maintenance with 2 years' experienceOrCertificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years' experienceOTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals.
Able to respond to common inquiries by members of management, and effectively present information.
Must have above average skills in the use and application of word processing and spreadsheet software.
